The girls are out of town this week so it’s just Rem and I holding down the fort. It’s been pretty uneventful. I did decide to test some backpacking gear at Horsetooth tonight (Wednesday) but didn’t check the temperature before booking my spot. It’s gonna be chilly… My library reserve for Dead Lions finally came up so I’m hoping to read that in the tent before falling asleep.
Yeah. It was too cold to read in the tent. I did eventually warm up and I think I would have also eventually fallen asleep. But with the gear check complete, I just didn’t feel like being uncomfortable anymore. It’s OK to take it easy sometimes.
