This is a comic about making comics. You can instead imagine it to be about writing, or dancing, or making hotdogs. It doesn’t really matter, the advice holds up.

I made that one 10 years ago for makingcomics.com. Ironically, it’s also one of the last comics I made before giving up the craft altogether - or at least for what felt like a very long time.

Fortunately, there also comes a time when you look back on your old comics and think: "This wasn't half bad considering I was just starting. I'm so proud I made them and stuck with it!"
A whole hour and a half has gone by, lots of people have read this and nobody has commented yet. Seems wrong so here is a comment that I will probably read in ten years and cringe, “what a dweeb!” Good thing I’ve probably gotten better at commenting. 😁😁😁
