I feel like I've been on a decade AND longer of creative dry spell. And I know why, and removing the reason hasn't helped for the past 6 years but I remain hopeful. I fell out of love for everything, my work included.

Totally get it. I lost any desire to make art - and when I tried it just felt very wrong. It took me a year or more after I got the rest of my life back in order before I was ready to even think about making work again. I hope you find your way back.

These are always the highlight of my week. This one is no exception! The existential exhaustion of no.45 really speaks to me. I feel very seen.

Thanks Duane - 40 through 45 encapsulates the last 24 hours for me! 😂 A bit all over the place sometimes 😬

I love the connection (and disconnection) between the faces on each spread. The whole thing feels a little bit like a flipbook, like it's begging to be animated.

Oh dang, yeah… bit of a missed opportunity there - but definitely gets me thinking about stuff for later…

Yeah definitely more of a "What if?" than missed opportunity.

I did toss the pics into a gif maker just to see - it was interesting - if they were split and sorted for similarity it would almost be something. Makes me want to try again with that in mind.

Love the evolution of the character across the pages to the final 360.

Thanks Martin - it was a fun journey and one I didn’t realize I was on until after. A neat discovery during sketchbook review.
